For most of my life, I did what I was taught to do.
I worked hard.
I pursued excellence.
I earned the degrees, the credentials, the respect.
I carried my title with pride — not because it inflated my ego, but because it represented sacrifice, discipline, and years of showing up when it would have been easier not to.
Like many professionals, my title became shorthand for who I was.
And for a long time, that felt enough.
WHEN SUCCESS STOPS FEELING WHOLE
Eventually, I reached a moment I didn’t expect.
I was accomplished, respected, and externally successful — yet something inside me felt unsettled. Not broken. Not lost. Just… unanchored.
